How Service Pumping & Drain Maintains State-of-the-Art Services

Service Pumping and Drain is a team of hard-working individuals with hands-on experience in pumping and drain management. We have grown over the years into one of the largest liquid waste haulers in Massachusetts, offering professional septic tank pumping equipment and grease trap cleaning equipment. Keep reading to learn how we maintain state-of-the-art services to support a variety of cleaning and maintenance needs.

Equipment

At Service Pumping and Drain, we have a wide range of equipment that allows us to service and clean sewer lines and septic systems of all sizes. This includes a new 2000-gallon vacuum pump truck  with a high-capacity waste tank designed for high suction pumping substances such as:

Grit
Wastewater containing solids
And other types of slurry

The pump is mounted on a DOT-compliant trailer with electric brakes and an LED lighting package. Additionally, we can provide trucks outfitted with heavy-duty vacuum blowers for liquid waste pumping applications where extended operation is required. These blower pumps offer oil-less operation, instead using air conveyance to create negative pressure that draws waste into the tank.

Additional Vacuum Equipment

We also have a variety of additional vacuum equipment, which allows us to provide our state-of-the-art services to a wider range of customers. Our additional equipment includes:

Vacuum pump trucks. We have one 4,000-gallon and eight 5,000-gallon vacuum pump trucks. These high-volume trucks provide sufficient power and capacity to meet all of your vacuum pumping needs.
Aquatech B-10 combination machines. We also have three Aquatech B-10 combination machines with high-velocity jetters capable of cleaning storm and sewer lines from 8” to 36” in diameter.
1,200-gallon pump truck.Grease traps and pump chambers can be located in awkward positions or tight areas. Our 1,200-gallon pump truck is ideal for accessing tight, hard-to-reach spots.
F-150 service trucks. Another integral component of our fleet is our three F-150 service trucks that have US Jetting 4,000 PSI trailer-mounted jetters. Coming in at just under six feet, these trucks are perfect for use in low-clearance facilities and have plenty of power to handle all of your drain cleaning needs.
525-gallon vacuum pump trucks. Our fleet includes four 525-gallon pump trucks. Boasting 250′ of 2″ hose and only 6’4″ in height, these trucks are ideal for use in low-entry facilities.
9,000-gallon vacuum trailers. Rounding out our fleet are four 9,000-gallon vacuum trailers that are ideally suited for large commercial projects, including those involving septic tanks and grease traps.

In addition to housing equipment for a range of pumping and handling needs, we can also provide expert advice on any drain issues you may encounter. You can trust our team to only provide you with the services you actually need.

How Does a Grease Trap Work?

Grease traps play an essential role in keeping commercial kitchens, food-service operations, and multi-unit facilities running smoothly. When fats, oils, and grease enter your plumbing system unchecked, they cool, harden, and cling to the inside of your pipes. Over time, this buildup can cause slow drains, backups, foul odors, and even costly shutdowns. A properly installed and well-maintained grease trap prevents those problems by capturing grease before it reaches your septic or municipal wastewater system.
